BSL Workshops 

This series of online BSL Workshops are designed to help students develop a range of practical skills in using British Sign Language from beginners to intermediate, those wanting to enhance their learning in a friendly, professional, and inclusive environment will benefit from these interactive online sessions.

Timetable:

All workshops are £15 each

*Due to the mixed-age format of our workshops and group lessons, we are only able to accept students aged 16 and above.

During lessons and workshops, your camera must be switched on. We will remove any new students with their cameras switched off from the session. This is due to online safety and identification. 

BSL & Grammar

*Each BSL & Grammar Workshop is a stand alone session with different activities. Improve your BSL signing skills with this fun and interactive workshop; focusing on BSL vocabulary, Grammar and Receptive Skills.

BSL A Guide for Beginners: 

Run by Karina An introduction for complete beginners or those wishing to refresh their knowledge. Including fingerspelling, numbers, greetings, questions and more.

How long are the workshops? 

Each workshop lasts 1 hour. 

How do I book the workshops? 

Below is a list of all the available workshops. Please reply by email listing the date(s) of the workshop(s) you would like to attend. 

1. Following your email we will confirm initial registration by email.

2. Payment details will be sent on the 1st of the month of the workshop. 

3. Once payment has been received, your place will be confirmed. (Please see information below). 

How do I access the workshops? 

The workshops will be held online on Zoom. Please make sure you have downloaded/updated your Zoom before the workshop. Link: https://zoom.us 

Important: Your camera MUST be working and switched on during the workshop. Your sound will be muted for the majority of the session to reduce background noise. 

A zoom link will be sent to you on the day of the workshop(s) you are attending. 

How much do the workshops cost? 

All workshops cost £15

How do I pay for workshops? 

Bank details will be provided prior to the workshop(s) date(s). 

Please include your name in the payment reference. 

On receipt of payment, you will receive an email confirming your place on the workshop(s).

If you are taken ill on the day of the workshop, please let us know and we will be able to offer an alternative date of another workshop you can attend.
